I’ve had this thing plugged in and running literally 24/7 for the past month set at 68 degrees,
and it has kept my cold basement music studio room between 66 and 69 degrees every day
depending on how much the air conditioning is blasting. Before, this room would consistently
be in the mid to high-50s — not hospitable at all, and not good for my guitars.
The great thing about this heater is that you set the temperature, and then never have to worry
about it again — it automatically clicks on and off to keep the room at a consistent temperature
(within a couple degrees).
It does have some clicks and pops as mentioned in other reviews, but I barely notice it. That
said, I’m in a carpeted room with things covering the walls, so I can see how a room with
hardwood floors and bare walls might make it sound loud.
Also, the offgassing took longer than I expected — about 3-4 days of constant use. Letting it
run full blast for a couple of hours was insufficient to get rid of the offgassing smell, and I just
had to live with it for a few days. It smelled like a furnace smells after not being used for all
summer… kind of a generic burning odor. Not pleasant, but not horrible. After that 3-4 days,
absolutely no smell at all — just nice consistent heat filling up the room.
Also, I have a humidity gauge in the room, and I noticed the humidity dropped about 5-10%
once the temperature normalized. For me, this is actually a good thing, as I was in the 55-60%
range, which is getting pretty wet. Now I’m averaging right at 50% with the heater on constantly,
which is actually right where I want it for my guitars.
This heater is an excellent solution at a reasonable cost — I’m quite pleased with my purchase.

Bought this for a Man cave in 1/2 of a converted two car garage . Has turned into a bedroom
temp for a grown daughter and her dog, till she gets back on her feet. IT is well built silent. Set
the temp put it in economy mode and forget it. It holds the temp perfect actually better that in
the rest of the house with a central heat pump. This is not an instant heater it is slow to heat a
room but once there it is amazing at holding temp. It is quiet and you do not even know it is on
except for an occasional click as it turns on and off// . It is sturdy well built and safe. IT does get
hot not enough to burn you but hot. Don't know what else to say well built, quiet, safe and it
works great if used correctly.

I like that this heater has a remote for access to the controls when I am not near it. I also like the
eco feature and keeps my workspace of about 300 sq Ft comfortable in the winter time. The
timer is also another great feature. There is some noise/clink if it is working hard to regulate temps
but isn’t consistent and no smell was noticed when started using it in use. Would recommend.
